At Temple & Webster, we’ve always loved helping you to create a beautiful home with styling advice and insider tips. And now we’ve taken it to the next level with the T&W Style School. Here’s what to expect when you sign up to our first online course, Styling Your Living Space. March enrolments are closing soon, don’t miss out!
DESIGNED BY THE EXPERTS
Created for budding home decorators and those considering a career in interiors, the new T&W Style School offers interactive and inspiring online courses for anyone who wants to learn the secrets to styling a beautiful home.
Developed with the leading industry educators Sydney Design School, each course combines video tutorials by our own T&W stylists, practical exercises and interactive forums where you can collaborate with educators and classmates.
“Our team styles hundreds of rooms every year and they know all the very best tips and tricks of the trade to achieving styling perfection,” says T&W Commercial Director Lucy Sutherland. “We can’t wait to share our expertise to upskill budding home decorators with the knowledge and confidence to do just that.”
LEARN AT YOUR OWN PACE
The first T&W Style School course, Styling Your Living Space is now open (keep an eye out for Colour 101 and Styling Kids’ Rooms in coming months). The structure allows students to work at their own pace, with 30 days to complete 10 hours of coursework. The course covers sourcing inspiration and choosing colour palettes; creating effective room layouts using new and existing pieces of furniture and adding the finishing touches with smart styling. By completion, students have learned all the basics and emerged with a plan to style a living space in a way that reflects their personality and individual aesthetic. All graduates receive a Certificate of Completion.
“I’d love to work in the field of styling so this course was perfect for me, “says Roxy Thomson of Hobart, Tasmania, one of our first group of Styling Your Living Space students. During the course, Roxy created the mood board above using the Pic Collage app. “My style is minimalist and contemporary, with a nod to the era of my home using velvet and vintage. I’ve chosen a fresh palette of neutrals and greens with metallic touches”. Roxy has already begun putting her plans into action, too. “I’ve been busy painting a restored fireplace and am attempting to re-fashion a little garage-sale sofa to complement some new and existing pieces. I can’t wait to bring the vision together once I’ve done all the preparation!”
ENROL NOW FOR MARCH!
There are limited places in each course, with the next intake for Styling Your Living Space commencing on March 1. Be quick to make sure you don’t miss out!
