Now part of the Temple & Webster family, Milan Direct has been known as a leading retailer of great-value furniture online since it was founded a decade ago. With retail operations spanning Australia, the UK and Europe, the brand offers a huge range of great-value, stylish furniture for the home, office fit-outs and even large-scale events including the 2012 London Olympics.
While Milan Direct has built on its reputation as a shopping destination for furniture online, the brand recently launched its first pop-up showroom in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond to allow customers to experience the range first-hand.According to founder and CEO Dean Ramler, it’s a natural evolution for Milan Direct. “The store offers the best of both sides of the Milan Direct shopping experience. Customers can see, touch and test the quality of our furniture, and thanks to some clever in-store tech solutions, we’re also able to showcase our huge range of furniture online, too.”
The showroom offers the perfect opportunity to see the range of office furniture, home furniture, outdoor and children’s furniture, lighting, rugs and homewares for yourself, and buy using the tablets in store.
The furniture and decor on display is updated regularly, to showcase the more than 15,000 items available online. Some popular brands such as Royal Doulton, Gordon Ramsay, Noritake and Laguiole are available to purchase in-store, while larger furniture items can be purchased on the spot or online for next-day dispatch from the Melbourne warehouse.
